Week in Review

What a big week. Sunday was a benefit at Hill's Cafe for Hurricane Ike. Flew to El Paso on Monday and drove back with my sister, who now lives in Austin again! I've also been settling my house, booking shows for '09, and promoting the new album. Busy, but good stuff. Here are some other things that happened this week:

Nelson wants to be a pumpkin for Halloween. Yes, I'm THAT girl. I know.

I got to play piano on a track for Walt Wilkin's new album, Vigil. Then, we all went to Guerros to see the infamous Gimble family. Austin is still cool. This is a pic of Walt, Johnny Gimble, Dick Gimble, Emily Gimble.

My best friend, Bree, turned 28. We celebrated on 6th street like the good ol days. But, I think I was still in bed by 11.

I like this mirror. I wish I had money with which to buy it. And, yes, the temperature dropped below 80*, which means I broke out the Uggs.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK: Ray LaMontagne at Paramount. Wow. wow. wow. What an incredibly moving show. I cried. Thank god for artists like RL. I know you can't see it here, but I swear he's looking right at me!
